Could I put nylon strings onto my acoustic guitar?!
Question: Could I put nylon strings onto my acoustic guitar!?
I know that a classical guitar usually has a wider neck, but would it be possible to put nylon strings onto a normal acoustic guitar!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
Answers:
You can,
but you probably won't care for it!.
The 3 nylon strings may not fit into the slots, in the nut,
the nylon strings are thicker than the original steel ones!.
If you open the nut up with a file, you will have trouble putting steel srings back on!.
Since the nylon strings have a LOT less "pull" or tension, the volume and tone of the guitar will be a LOT less!.
You will not hurt anything tho!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
