How do you feel about rap/hip-hop?!
Question: How do you feel about rap/hip-hop!?
To me this style of music is annoying!. I remember when I used to think that hip-hop was alright, but I would only hear it once in a while!. Now I am in an annoying hell!. My roommate who is African American just does not know when to shut up!. The walls are like paper and the noise goes right through the air vents!. Plus he likes to play the same stupid songs over and over again!. I hate how the beats just loop on for about 3 minutes with horrible lyrics!. The voice of the "singer" annoy's me, since it is mostly spoken!. I saw lil Wayne on SNL about a month ago and he played the guitar, but he was horrible at it!. He was at first just wearing a guitar and I though he was just trying to look cool!. Then when he actually tried to play he just started plucking the strings!. I almost was embarrassed for him but I remembered that he is just a terrible "musician" and "artist"!. Plus there really is no improvisational aspect of this music!. When I say improvasational I don't me lyrics, but the actual music!. There is just a beat and dubbing of other artists music!.
I am just rambling but I want to say more but I think I said enough for right now!. I also know that I am all over the place but there is just so much that I hate about this "music"!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The Very Sad thing is that for this generation, in 30 or 40 years, RAP will be considered "The Oldies"!. I am glad that I will be dead by then!. If I was a kid growing up now I would want a REFUND on my childhood; the music is useless, the school system and the quality of education is a joke and a myriad of other things!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I love real rap!. Hip-Hop that has a point or message to get across!. Or what they're life was like growing up or mistakes they made and how they fixed em!. I listen to a lot of Bone Thugs -N-Harmony, Bizzy Bone, Lupe Fiasco, Chamillionaire, Fort Minor, and K-Drama ( www!.k-dramamusic!.com ) Hip-Hop has changed into a lot of garbage lately however with horrible rookie artist like Soulja Boy!. I don't like how ever song has to have some stupid dance to it too!. I think real rap artist never jack for beats always have Original lyrics and a message!. Most artist today don't have that and if they do only one song or two!. I mean when you got artist talking about killing people you can see why some people hate it and why the government wants to take it away according to some rumors!. Overall some Hip-Hop can be real good and the rest is just a bunch of garbage with a beat in it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I love rap beats! I don't care too much for the lyrics, but the point is not to be profound!. Most mainstream rap is just for having a good time in the clubs and providing beats that are good to dance to!. If you want profound lyrics, listen to underground hip-hop, but you don't even like the style, so just stick to whatever it is you like to listen to when you're not forced to listen to your roommate's music!.

I am a hip hop fan to be honest i don't really go into the whole mainstream rap thing!.!.(with the exception of T!.I!. hehe i like him) Maybe i'm old fashioned i don't know what i am but i pick and choose what i think is good to me! My preference is artists who have substance in their songs (you know like articulate lyrics and awesome metaphors lol) and a nice smooth delivery/tone!. That's all, i try to find guys/girls who are different than everyone else!.
I agree music is not about ethnicity i have always been disgusted when people slammed others for listening to what they listen to because of their ethnicity!. I was raised by a musical family who appreciates and has love for all genres from any period in time!. Because good music is everywhere
