What would be a typical songwriting royalty for an established song?!

Question: What would be a typical songwriting royalty for an established song!?
For example, take a song used everday!.!.!.!. Gun's 'n' Roses "Sweet Child of Mine", Queen's "Another One Bites the Dust" Or Beach Boys' "Good Vibrations"!.!.!.

Basically, any song used on an advert/popular in bars, clubs, classic radio stations!.!.!.!. How much would this type of staple song earn the songwriter!?

I am after general amounts (daily, monthly or yearly), royalty contracts/percentages notwithstanding!.!.!.!.

I just want to get a feel for how much an established songwriter would earn for a song of this type!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well, a lot, as you can imagine!. The amounts of dosh that these people earn are incredible! And some of them don't even deserve it!. But what actually happens after the group splits up or doesn't play anymore!. Take Queen for example: I think it wa the best British band ever, and its music will live beyond the day I die, but since Freddie died, do the other members still get paid!?
Anyway, sorry it's a cr appy answer, but I didn't want to leave you without one!.!.!. :o)Www@Enter-QA@Com

There is no typical royalty!. It all depends on record sales, downloads, radio airplay, TV airplay, jukebox plays, cover versions etc etc!.
It also depends on the contract between the writer and the publisher!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
