Because let's be honest, there are too many people especially the young people who don't know who Nas is!. And the FACT is - a lot of these young people enjoy and listen to who's hot on the radio or MTV!. Just look at Lil' Wayne and TI!. They're like the "hot" artists to the young people right now in America!. So if Nas got a lot of plays like them, do you think he'd gain the most popularity or no!? It's really hard to say because Nas has never had that kind of mainstream success, he's kind of always been just a border line rapper!. He doesn't have those chart toppers, but he's never really been underground!. Based on when he had his beef with Jay Z, if he had that amount of attention right now he'd be more popular with the younger people!.
