Thanks to indieupdate!.com, I've discovered a new ambient-sounding alternative rock band called The Cast Before the Break!. The vocals are quiet and (disclaimer) may sound a little!.!.!.er!.!.!.top 40, but still, they are cool!.

They didn't really do much for me, sorry to say!. The lyrics were a little awkward, and it seemed pretty straight-forward and generic!. There was nothing there to really set them apart!. They seem to try for the fast-slow-fast dynamic, but don't really exploit it - it was more awkward, and not in a good way!. They seem reminiscent of most of the alt-rock bands that find top 40 success (some fall out boy/panic at the disco influence, some plain white t's elements) with some grating elements that just don't work for me!. I didn't think the vocals were all that quiet - I thought they were at the forefront of the music - trying to drive it along, but not really capturing my attention!.

I just listened to "From the Earth at a Crossroad" and I have to say I really liked it!. One of the best Indie bands I have heard so far!. I love their sound cool find thank you for the link!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
