Question: What does (4) mean in a guitar tab !?
Answers:
if its actually in the ( ) then that means its a sustained note and your changing one of the other notes in the chord that your playing!. like if it was
4 then went to 5 !.!.!.the fourth fret would be held during the
4-------------------(4)
duration of both sets of notes and the 5th fret note would be strummed while holding the 4th fret making sure not to strum it!.
