Question: I want to break into the Music industry as a punk single artist!?
I have played guitar for three years now and it occurred to me continuing in playing!. But I play punk/metal music!. Will it be harder for me to break into the music industry when most punk artists are bands!!!Www@Enter-QA@Com

Of course you look up to the Horrorpops and the Distillers, you are a girl!. Look up Tom Gabel, frontman of Against Me! He started playing solo and eventually broke into the "punk scene"!. If you can be a genius like him, then i am sure you will have no problem!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
True punk is dead, sorry!. You're not gonna be able to break into the industry as a real punk artist, and even if you're a highly marketable pop-punk/emo artist, you can't do much without a band!. The best you can do without a band is hope to become a successful studio musician, which is nearly as difficult!. My suggestion to you would be to get a band together, and start playing tons of shows!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
Get yourself into a band r group and get the ball rolling!. Even if you have to play other type of music for awhile until u get the strings (no pun intended)!.!. Find a drummer, singer and go!.
