Musical signature (similar to Bach and Shostakovich)?!

Question: Musical signature (similar to Bach and Shostakovich)!?
How does one do this!? What note would correspond with all letters of the English alphabet!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
For i!.jones: Shostakovich's 'signature' was D-S-C-H (for D Schostakowitsch in the German transliteration of his name)!. Schumann also used A-S-C-H for Robert A SCHumann!.

i!.jones is right, you only have ABCDEFGH and S to play with (in German notation - B being our B-flat, H being our B natural and S being E-flat!.

You can be sneaky by also using sol-fa as used in France, Spain, Italy, etc so, theoritically, you could also get R (for re = D), M (for mi = E), S (for soh = G), L (for la = A) and S again for si (B natural), but these only duplicate notes you already have!. As far as I know, no-one has worked out a code for the notes I to R and T to Z in German notation!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Ok, the only letters you'll have to work with in German are
A B C D E F G H and S

That really narrows the list of composers!.

The obvious BACH
and the only other ones I can come up with are
? Amy BEACH
? Edmond DEDE
? John CAGE

!.!.!. I've got no idea what you would do with "Dmitri Shostakovich"

I suppose you could play with Solfege, and have Do, Di, Ra, Re, Ri, Me (Ma), Mi, Fa, Fi, Se, So, Si, Le (Lo), La, Li, Te (Ta), and Ti available!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Huh!? Would you care to elaborate further!?

Alberich

edit: thank you for your elaboration; unfortunately, I'm not able to offer anything meaningful!. Hopefully, someone more knowledgeable than I will be able to!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
