The Song "Ebeneezer Goode" by The Shamen - was it really a pro-drugs s!

Question: The Song "Ebeneezer Goode" by The Shamen - was it really a pro-drugs song!?
Confirmed in a documentary and the lyrics (Has anyone got any Veras; Vera Lynns; Skins), but apparently the band still deny this is the case!.

Anyone better informed!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Yeah it was, but the band will never admit it!. It was kind of satirical, a backlash against all the misinformation and fear surrounding ecstasy at the time!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Yes seems it was a good way to beat censorship E's are Good!.

It runs a close second to the crew of the kids show Pugwash "master bates" and "seaman stains" how they got away with it is beyond me!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

E's are good!. e's are good!. Great song!. gotta love the 90's!. obviously pro drugsWww@Enter-QA@Com

could be wrong but I always thought it was a pro drugs tune!.

As far as I remember, I think people considered it particularly pro E, ecstasy or pills!.

whatever you want to call them!.

From what i remember the chorus was basically them shouting 'Eezer Goode' (E's are good!)!. So probably pro-drugs then :)Www@Enter-QA@Com

Eee's are good, Ebeneezer goode - seems a cut and dried case to me!!
Lyrics and meanings aside i love this tune - it's my era!Www@Enter-QA@Com

i think the fact that "'ezer goode, 'ezer goode!.!.!." sounds liker 'e's are good' speaks for itself! I thought this was a well known fact!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

I have been acquainted with Mr C in the Past and confirm it is highly likely Www@Enter-QA@Com
