Whenever i'm talking about hip hop with people, Someone mentions T!.I!. and i say!.!."T!.I!. is average at best!.!." Everyone seems to look at me like i'm crazy!.
With all this talk about paper trail and T!.I!. being the king of the south and being part of the reason the south is coming back lyrically!.!.bla bla bla!. Its not a "LOLOL i hate mainstream!. Aren't i cool!?" thing either!.!.I just generally don't see the fuss!. I've heard god knows how many people mention whatever you like, His albums, Him in a list of best rappers alive etc!.

seroiusly, TI is probalby my least favorite rapper ever!.!.!.I hate his barely listenable slurred/broken grammar, the way rhyming "hot and not" is some sort of lyrical achievement for him, and the fact hes got loads of whack producers all over his stuff!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

He really just da southern version of Jay Z, but not nearly as talented(especially when it comes 2 freestyles)!. And really, he gets da attention 4 all da wrong reasons!.!.!. His good songs dont get talked about like his pop songs(Good Life- Whatever You Like)!. And I just hate how pop rappers, such as TI, always do collabs wit da biggest pop stars, Rhianna and Justin Timberlake, as opposed 2 great soulful singers, I heard sum great guest appearances from Faith Evans recently!.!.!. I think he's just gone too mainstream for me!. Is he overrated!? Maybe a little but I'll admit he's one of the better radio stars out today!. It's just that these days he's making songs like Whatever You Like, Swagger Like Us, and Live Your Life!. They're alright songs but they're pop infused!. There's not much substance, they're just to sell records!. You didn't hear songs like that (especially full cds of them) on I'm Serious and Trap Muzik!.
