Look for local singing contests where you are and some of the major contests, and sing at those and anywhere else that will let you sing!. It takes time and perseverance!. Don't give up!. I read somewhere once that when Garth Brooks moved to Nashville, he was turned down by every major record label in Nashville!. Now people all over the world know who he is regardless of what genre of music they listen to!. Keep at it, even when the times are tough!. If that is your dream, you have to be the one to keep it alive!. Sing anywhere and everywhere you can!.

Know any bands in your area!? The best way is to network, meet some people in your area & play shows with them/jam!. Whats your music like!? Are you confident to play live!? Best thing to do is first get your live performance down, playing shows gives you experience and a fan base!. Start small, then build on it!.
