Led Zeppelin vs Pink Floyd: Why LZ is better?!
Question: Led Zeppelin vs Pink Floyd: Why LZ is better!?
First of all, this question is not for the ppl who "LIKE" PF better than LZ!. It is for those who say PF > LZ, and that LZ sucks!.
I like both bands, but i think LZ are the gods of rock!. They are not comparable to anyone!.
As for playing styles, both are different; but both come under the category of classic rock!. I think the animosity for LZ has always existed, and is more prevalent these days!. The kids of today dont seem to like their music as much as PF's because they have heard it so many times on radio!. Sorry, that does not make PF > LZ!. LZ seriously know how to rock, and i havent any band that produces their kind of music!. But the type of music PF (esp in their newer songs) uses can be heard in a number of bands today!. I love some PF songs like crazy (comfortably numb, take it back); but i cant get enough of almost all of LZ's songs (kashmir, immigrant song, stairway and so many more!)!. LZ has harder music; more hardcore, physical!. There just isnt music like these nowadays!. Even though PF formed before LZ, the kind of impact LZ had in the 70's cannot be compared by anyone except the beatles!.

PF is one of the greatest bands there is!. I personally like Gilmour more than Page sometimes, because he puts so much soul in his music!. But LZ are the best band in the world!. I've never seen crazier fans of any band more than LZ's (and im crazy about them too)!.
Both the bands may sound different, but they are both categorized as classic rock bands; and LZ is BETTER, the best band ever infact!.!.!.
There has always animosity for them because they were the gods of rock, and people were jealous of how successful they were!. People tried to tarnish them with all kinds of accusations (subliminal messages in stairway, plagiarizing [like no one else does!])!. These guys were way ahead of their times, and the kings of rock!. Their music still sounds amazing today, in today's world of emo music!.
Again, I dont have a problem with people saying they "LIKE" PF better than LZ!. thats their personal choice, but dont ever say PF > LZ!. Dont compare PF to the gods of rock, we know which is the better band!.

I think LZ's been given a lot of stick by a lot of people (who said they made satanic music, who plagurized); and now in today's world, people are giving them a stick!. This band is very under-appreciated for what it has given us, we cant thank you them enough; yet we seem to take their music for granted!. Their music was something very very special, that cant be described in words!. PF has always been thought of as a 'goody goody' band (or at least a band with good morals), LZ has been accused of all kinds of stuff (they have also been accused of being pompous)!. These guys have had so many haters over all these years, but they've still been more popular in the media as compared to PF!.

Well personally i think pink floyds is drug addicts i dont give a **** how nice and mellow dey joints sound where on the other hand Led Zep have cool lyrics edgy guitar and overall are what rock should be not some puncy go kill yourself loser music!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
first off, you have to realize, that originally led zepplin was not a favorably reviewed band, they were had to wait for thier work to be accepted, even though their second album was more accepted than thier first one (which everyone thought sucked), it took time for it to be considered the classic it is today!. Why is that!? oh yea, because with the quailty of music at that time the album simply wasn't that great!. by today's watered down grading, we look and say it was great, it was not all that people!. Pink floyd is obviously the better group,after syd left the group perhaps even more so (david Gilmore fan), their work was simply sonically better, and did not have to wait to become "classic"Www@Enter-QA@Com
