Here you go man, This one is tried & tested, it will surpass your expectations!. You can play punk, metal, hard rock, and alternative really well with this guitar, this is a really good investment, you don't need to buy another guitar, because this will be with you on the road !. Happy Birthday Dude, Keep on playingWww@Enter-QA@Com

Man, you're probably better off saving up a little more and getting something around 500 to 6 or 700!. because you'll realize that you wished you had saved up and gotten a different guitar, as far as prices go, some companies that are currently making good guitars at lower prices are ESP, Ibanez and B!.C!. Rich!. but buying a new guitar is a big deal, it shouldn't just be impulsive, make sure you do extensive research, if you can, play the guitar before you buy it, and if you think you want a certain guitar, sleep on that idea for a couple nights just to make sure!. if you get excited and buy a random guitar you'll be disappointed soon!. good luck! i hope you pick the guitar thats perfect for you

If you're looking for the perfect second guitar at that price only you can decide!. Musician's Friend is one place!. American Musical is another and they finance by allowing you to pay in three installments!. Look around it's fun!. I swear I have bought more guitars than I have needed!. Yet life is meant to be lived to the fullest!. My favorite brand is Epiphone and BC Rich!. Epiphone makes guitars that are very well built!. BC Rich is all about appearance, but replace the pickups and you've got a priceless guitar!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I asked a couple of my musician friends (professionals) and they both recommended a used Mexi Strat!. Good quality, versitile, and you can find them for around $250-$300!. One of them added, "It's better to buy a good used one than a bad new one!. So, don't buy one that lists for $300 and pay $300!. Better to buy one that had listed for $400-$500 and find it used at $250-$300!."

Good luck!.

If it HAS to be under 300, yeah go with an Ibanez like the dude above me said!. But you'll just want something better before too long, so you would be better off saving a little more money and getting an Epiphone version of the Les Paul in the 5-600 range!. Or maybe look for an old used Real Stratocaster or Real Telecaster and get a tech to fix it up for you!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
