my parents introduced me to the basic stuff!. the stuff they like!. i then got into bands that they liked and other bands that were similar!. like my mom likes rock and introduced me to the 80's and then my dad is older so he grew up in the 70's and introduced me to much older stuff and i went from there!. mom likes bon jovi, def leppard, guns n roses, and some pop!. i went and got into the stuff that influenced those bands, like sabbath and other early metal bands!. then my dad was into like some rock from the 70s but mostly disco (lmao) and he introduced me to 60s music and i got into jimi hendrix, the beatles, zeppelin, pink floyd!. and then because of those bands and solo artists i got into stuff on my own like the police and the animals!. i like some stuff from today but only the bands that formed in the 90s or really early 2000s!. theres probably 2 bands i like that came around later than 2004!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I wasn't influenced by anyone: I was influenced by a song- Under the Bridge!. I heard it in the mall one time!. I had no idea that it was the Red Hot Chili Peppers who performed it (I hated them back then)!. It changed my taste in music completely and has been my favorite song for over a year!. Through RHCP I discovered Nirvana and other grunge bands, then punk and classic rock!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
The radio got me into classic rock, 80s pop, and grunge!. The first one after the fact the other two during!.
Motley Crue got me into Metallica which took me into metal!.
I was also a skate rat in the early 90s which got me into punk!.
My mom always played oldies in the car which got me into soul and R&B leading to funk and then the west coast rap which sampled that funk!.

My mammy :) She was like "Why don't you listen to my kind of music!" cuz she was sick of hearing top 40 stations on the radio haha!. I started getting into classic rock and then I went to a lot of concerts!. and!.!.!.then RHCP came and she asked me to go and I went crazy about them, and I still am pretty crazy!.

My mom/myself!. She introduced me to Queen, The Beatles and Led Zeppelin through Greatest Hits albums!. I found the Who all by myself!. :)
Edit: And I found my soundtracks/classical by myself, too!. I had a phase where I wouldn't listen to music with words in it, and thus became a fan of John Williams!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

my mom was a music teacher back in the 50's and 60's,my dad had local gigs at clubs and bars durning the weekend they kept my sister and me, 'who is five years older than me informed about music and how to read it!.My older sister always had the latest record playing it!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well my dad introduced me to the scorpions and the beatles and i pretty much took it from there!. nd also my neighbor kyle is a HUGE freak about this kind of music and he really got me into it
