Question: Music and School Don't Mix (or do they)!?
I'm not sure how to word this, but I'll try!. Alright, have you ever had music related "annoyances" at school before!. Have you ever gotten into an argument with someone at your school about music!. And things like that!.
Here's mine:
Once, at school in English class our teacher was playing "Bridge Over Troubled Water" by Simon and Garfunkel!. About twenty people were laughing at it and cracking jokes about the song!. They were saying things like "What's wrong with his voice" and "This song sucks!" It made me mad for some reason!.

i wore my abby road beatles shirt one day & this girl comes up to me & said!.

her: i don't understand it!.
me: what's not to get!!? it's a famous cover of one of there albums!
her: i just don't understand!.!.!.!.
it was like talking to a wall excepted a wall could understand!!
i also (like any zeppelin fan) just love when your talking about music with a group, you mention that you like zeppelin & really like the song (just picking a random song) the lemon song!. someone says!.!.!.

the other person: everyone knows that the only good led-zeppelin song is stairway to heaven!. all the other songs are crap!
me: no there not!. if you were a!.!.!.!.!.(in my head!.!.!.why bother trying to get these dumb morons to understand something that they will never understand in less they hare more then one song!.)

in my history class a cupel years ago we did a semester on the 60's!. so one day we were talking about the protests of corse bob dylan's name came up my teacher had blowin' in the wind & for what it's worth by buffalo springfield for us to listen to!. (like in your class) everyone complained that the music was crap!. it really pissed me off!.
there are so many other story's like these!. like i said befor we need to get a music appertain class in schools!. i could get strait a's in that class!.

I have very few arguments in school about music because!.!.!.
1!. No one in my school knows about the music i listen to!.
2!. I don't like to start arguments

My Geometry teacher used to play a lot of U2 and i think that was the coolest thing ever, but there were very few people in the class who liked U2, so the rest of the class were only talking and talking and they wouldn't let me hear the songs!.
Once my US History teacher was saying that he liked every type of music exept for Rap, and then i told him that as long as he didn't listen to rap he would be ok, and this kid said "what's wrong with rap" and i got in a little fight with him, the bad thing is that i really like that guy and he's very cute!. Some kid once told me that new In Flames was better than "all the other crap [I] listen to" (I listen to stuff like Obituary, Death, and Necrophagist)!. One of my friends also said that Lamb of God and Papa Roach were good and Slayer was crap!.
There's also an inevitable endless stream of idiots who put off more extreme genres of metal as screamo!.
Luckily though, most of the kids in my music class actually appreciate good music!. For example, our acoustic bass player has a Bad Religion patch on his pants and told me that he enjoys bands such as Nile and Cryptopsy!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I do get a little annoyed when kids my age (17) talk about the Jonas Brothers and crap like that!. We always have musical arguments because so many teens at my school listen to shitt music!.
EDIT:To Fly Like Planes(hope I got your name right), I get called an oreo all day long!. Doesn't bother me one bit, because music knows no race or gender!. When this girl came up to me at my volleyball practice and told me Johnn Lennon sucked compared to Joe Jonas!.!.!.!.and she when on this 5 minute rant about how the Beatles are *nothing* when it comes to the Jonas Brothers!.!.!.!.and she knew I was a *huge* fan of the Beatles!.!.!.!.

a girl walked up to me when i was wearing a shirt that said the who on it and said whos the who like some kinda dumbass and then i told her to look them up and the next day she came and said that they sucked and blah blah blah so i launched another friend on her (and she was a girl too so it was fine) and some of her hair got ripped outWww@Enter-QA@Com
