Having been an 8 year old girl at one point, I started out liking pop, obviously!. Britney, NSYNC, Lillix, etc!. After I grew out of that, I started listening to pop rock, a little alternative rock, stuff like that!. The first real band I ever really liked was Green Day (and I still love em :D) Then my dad introduced me to classic rock, like Queen and The Beatles, so I mixed them in!. Starting a year or so ago, I started listening to heavier rock and a little bit of metal-ish stuff!. And now I've come to realize that I respect every musical genre, if it's music to them, who am I to tell them what is and isn't music!? I'll listen to mostly anything (besides Disney)!. Of course, my favorites are Rock, Alternative, Punk, etc, but I'm not ashamed to say I listen to pop rock, techno, etc!. Yeah, some songs classified under those genres suck, but who cares!? I don't have to listen to themWww@Enter-QA@Com

The first music I listened to was oldies, like Mamma's & The Pappa's and Simon & Garfunkel!. Then I moved onto Classic Rock, and Metal, now I listen to a lot of modern Rock, Nu-Metal, Alternative, etc!.!.!.and I also listen to Blues, Classical, and older Country!. so I started out with just oldies, and over the years I've discovered more and more music and now I listen to everything!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Rock & Roll,what I like now (when I was a fetus until I was 3)
Pop & Country (The Dixie Chicks,Britney Spears,Hillary Duff,until I was 10)
Rock & Roll (what I liked when I was a baby is almost exactly what I like now)

Weird

Edit: i'm changing it:

When I was very little, even when my mom was pregnant with me,my parents played music like The Beatles,Pink Floyd,Shonen Knife,Nirvana,The Grateful Dead and many others from various types of music!. When I got a little bit older,my grandma exposed me to country and pop!. When I realized it sucked,I went back to the good music my parents introduced to me years earlier,as well as a few other bands!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well my parents have played reggae and island and disco music since I was little, and then when I was 12 or so I started to like rap a lot for some reason then after that it goes something like this:

R&B
Alternative
Rock (broad genre I know)
Ska
Old School stuff
Classic Rock
Blues
