Strings of Nashville by Pavement!. Between the general vibe of the song, the two main riffs and the sort of sad, downward vocal melody!. It just hits me in such a way that it's hard to articulate!. I guess the best way to put it is it's one of the saddest songs I've ever heard and I have no idea what he's singing about!. It's all on some word combinations and the vibe of the song!. Kind of like a nightmare that isn't dramatically frightening but emotionally crippling!. I bet someone reading this would probably listen to it and have a "what the hell is that guy talking about!?" reaction!. I guess certain songs and sounds just hit you a certain way!.
I'm bummed that though there is a youtube of the song it is not complete, and cuts out before the sort of climax of the tune!. It loses a lot of it's effect because of it, for me at least!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
