Band:

- Dargaard

Artist:
(musicians, whether they be singers, lyricists, etc!.)
- Tarja Turunen
- Sharon den Adel
- Tuomas Holopainen
- Marco Hietala

Technically no they are not the word *band* is used to describe a group of musicians while the word *artist* is used to describe for the most part a single or solo musician!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I wouldn't consider Ben Harper a band, but an artist!. So when people ask for 'band,' and I name an 'artist' I'll clarify so that I don't get called out on it!.

But that's just me!.

Radiohead = band

Band refers to a group of people play togeth (i!.e!. The Beatles)
Artist refers to a single person act (i!.e!. Stevie Ray Vaughn)
