Depending on where the club is located it makes it makes a big difference in the amount of money they earn!. Good jazz clubs seem to last around college campuses in downtown areas bringing in the coffee college crowds!. The owners normally pay less for their
mortgages and can hold on longer!. Most clubs lose out due to the fact that it's so expensive to hold a liquor license they can't keep afloat!. Sad fact the alcohol brings in the money!. Most clubs just have the common wine and beer available!. It's unfortunate that more clubs only stay open for short periods of time due to this factor!.
This weekend I met a man in Los Angles that has mortgaged his million dollar home just to keep his jazz bar open!. Not an easy business plus that fact that you are paying a few musicians and not just one DJ that often gets tips in a dance bar scene!.

I will give this answer though!.!.!.In order to stay open they will need to bring in three times the amount they take out and thats pretty hard to do!. I don't know, but I would like to!. Nowadays , jazz scene is in decline, so I think they won't gross to much as a disco or something like that!.
