I was JUST thinking about this! On Isis, near the end, how he says "if you want me to, yes!.!.!." is just perfect!. Not exactly a philosophical/thought provoking line, but I love the way he says it!.

Hopefully this is what you meant and I've not got your question all wrong!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well, mine are more comical than others appear to be, but still!.!.!. the way Keith Relf sings New York City Blues turns the decent lyrics into a hilarious song!. It's not on YouTube so I'll have to describe my favorite parts!.!.!.

I met a little girl there,
She was about (he pauses like he has to calculate it) five foot eight!.
I said "I want you to looove me!."
She said "Why man, that'd be greeeeaaaat!."
So, (I don't even know how to describe how he says that)
I got long hair but, (sung as a side comment
She took me back,
Back to see her pad,
But the first thing I saw when I arrived there,
Was a big black shiny shotgun,
In the hands of her daaaaad!. (he goes really deep)

also, in Putty (In Your Hands) also by The Yardbirds, Keith Relf sings:
"You can use me, abuse me, but never remove me" like "You can use me, abooz me, but never remove me"!.!.!. I just find it funny!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Iggy Pop "Lust for Life"
http://www!.youtube!.com/watch!?v=tERKErLwi!.!.!.
When he says "Well I'm just a modern guy, Of course I've had in the ear before" lol the song has some of the funniest lyrics

Joy Division "Isolation"
http://www!.youtube!.com/watch!?v=BOdNRGuX9!.!.!.

Ians voice is so haunting and the lyrics are so dark and painful
"I'm ashamed of the things I've been put through
I'm ashamed of the person I am !.!.Isolation"Www@Enter-QA@Com

Definetly the lyrics to Time by Pink Floyd at this moment in my life!. It's a sentimental song for me!. I'm 16 and haven't done much with my life yet and haven't got any plans for the future!. I feel as if my life is just slipping away day by day without a legacy to be proud of!.

I'm still young but the lyrics to this song were like a warning to me!. I better do something with my life!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

The Pogues-The Sick Bed Of Cuchulainn

McCormack and Richard Tauber are singing by the bed
There's a glass of punch below your feet and an angel at your head
There's devils on each side of you with bottles in their hands
You need one more drop of poison and you'll dream of foreign lands

When you pissed yourself in Frankfurt and got syph down in Cologne
And you heard the rattling death trains as you lay there all alone
Frank Ryan brought you whiskey in a brothel in Madrid
And you decked some ******* blackshirt who was cursing all the Yids
At the sick bed of Cuchulainn we'll kneel and say a prayer
And the ghosts are rattling at the door and the devil's in the chair

And in the Euston Tavern you screamed it was your shout
But they wouldn't give you service so you kicked the windows out
They took you out into the street and kicked you in the brains
So you walked back in through a bolted door and did it all again
At the sick bed of Cuchulainn we'll kneel and say a prayer
And the ghosts are rattling at the door and the devil's in the chair

You remember that foul evening when you heard the banshees howl
There was lazy drunken bastards singing Billy is in the bowl
They took you up to midnight mass and left you in the lurch
So you dropped a button in the plate and spewed up in the church

Now you'll sing a song of liberty for blacks and paks and jocks
And they'll take you from this dump you're in and stick you in a box
Then they'll take you to Cloughprior and shove you in the ground
But you'll stick your head back out and shout "we'll have another round"
At the graveside of Cuchulainn we'll kneel around and pray
And God is in His heaven, and Billy's down by the bayWww@Enter-QA@Com

Okay this is going to sound very weird, but I love how Bon Scott says ''But when they're held for pleasure they're the balls that I like best''!. It's just so!.!.!.funny and sarcastic, the way he sings that!. Haha, it always makes me smile!. :)

And Rock N Roll Gypsy, I completely agree with you on the Bob Dylan lyric!.

And I love how Jack White sings the lyric:
''that a boy's best friend is his mother
or whatever has become his pet''
The way she says/sings that is just perfect, and I can't think of a better ending to that song!.

I'm sure there would be more that I could think of,and perhaps more interesting than the one I'm going to mention, but what comes to mind now is Gogol Bordello's Supertheory Of Supereverything lyrics!.I like this carefree air with which they sing "I don't read the Bible!.!.!.my brothers are protons/my sisters are neutrons" etc etc:P
