My favorite is Nightwish (symphonic power metal), and favorite songs from them include "Ghost Love Score", "Nemo", "Sleeping Sun", and "The Islander"!.
Amberian Dawn (symphonic power metal) is pretty good musically!. Vocally they're a bit generic, but meh!. Try "River of Tuoni", "Valkyries", and "Lullaby"!.
!.!.!.And Oceans is good, if you don't mind industrial black metal!. Try "Tears Have No Name"!.
Apocalyptica, of course - symphonic metal (commonly called cello metal though, since that's what they use)!. Try "Path"!.
Battlelore is another geat symphonic metal band!. Try "House of Heroes" and "Journey to Undying Lands"!.
I'nm pretty into symphonic power metal bands, so I gotta recommend another - Bride Adorned!. Listen to "Killing Frost" - it's epic!.
If you like power metal try Sinergy!. My favorite from them is "Midnight Madness"!. You might also like Sonata Arctica, try "Victoria's Secret" and "In Black and White"!. Definitely try Stratovarius as well, I love "Papillion" and "Stratofortress"!. Their Elements albums are amazing!.
Ensiferum, Moonsorrow, Turisas, and Korpiklaani are great folk metal bands from Finland!.
Some Finnish gothic metal bands include Lullacry, Sentenced, For My Pain!.!.!., and Silentium!.

Speaking of HIM, I'm listening to their album, Venus Doom right now and their song, Dead Lovers' Lane, if you haven't heard their Venus Doom album I would strongly reccomend it!.
