Question: Is there a program that can take out instruments in a song or just have one playing!?
im starting to play in a band and it would help if i could find a program that can take out the vocals, drums, etc!. i am a bassist and i already played around with my equalizer!. it helped but im sure theres something out there that is beter!.

No!. If you search my previous answers, you will find the same explanation, and it received BA more than once!. A long time ago, music was mixed differently, and you COULD remove the vocals, since they were equally divided R and L rack - some some inversion and additive processing got them gone - along with some of the music!. Now, if you try to do this, you get a MESS - and it is mono, too!. Anyone who tell you that they have a program or machine that will do this, is scamming!. you will be left with something so bad, you do not want to hear it!. Once something is mixed for sales, you cannot undo it, and isolate certain previous tracks!. Sorry - but true!.
Now - if you get a MIDI files of a song - YES, you can open it in a notation program like Finale Notepad, and then drop out the tracks you do not want!. If you are planning on using all this stuff to learn with, then just get Band in an Box!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
