Do you guys have any bands....?!

Question: Do you guys have any bands!.!.!.!.!?
That you used to absolutely love, and just kind of fell out of love with!?

You still like them, right!? But its just not the same as it was when you first discovered them!. This is not the same thing as hating a band and dropping them from your listening completely, this is like having a favorite band, then just forgetting about them completely!.

This happened to me and the Killers!. I still like them, but I have no desire to listen to them at all like two years ago when they were one of my favorites!. I didn't even notice until right now! >!.<

It happens, very rarely does a new band, that I initially fall in love with, end up staying up there!.

Sometimes all it takes is a new album for me to rediscover why I fell in love with that band in the first place!.
Frog Eyes - when I first heard them I didn't quite get it, but upon repeated listens, I kept finding all of these layers, it was really great, but over the last two years or so - its kind of dwindled, and their last album Tears of the Valedictorian, was kind of hit-or-miss for me!. I'd still recommend them to others, but they're in the "like" pile now!.

I used to love Dinosaur Jr!. and J Mascis, and, over time, and repeated listens, thats become a like as well!. A lot of their stuff sounds the same!.

Same here with the Killers by the way!. And add Muse to the list as well!.

Interpol - When Turn On the Bright Lights came out I intensely loved that album, but with each subsequent album they've released its deteriorated
The Raveonettes - a band I saw live with Interpol, they opened for them in Philly, and I had never heard of them before!. They hadn't had a major release yet, and when they released their first album I had them hyped up in my head so much that I kind of instantly fell out of love with them!. I honestly haven't listened to them in months probably, and their 2nd or 3rd album was terrible - I haven't even picked up Lust Lust Lust yet - maybe it could rekindle the flame!.

I loved the Smashing Pumpkins growing up, but now I can't listen to Billy Corgan without cringing, and without James Iha - they really aren't the Smashing Pumpkins anymore!. I still listen to Siamese Dream every once in a while and border on love though,

Blur is another band - loved them when Song 2 was out and about!. Stopped listening to them and then picked up Think Tank when that came out - having missed a couple of albums - and was thoroughly disappointed!. I went back and listened to that first album again and it was just kind of - good brit pop!.!.!.!. that's about all I can say though!. I like them more than Oasis still though, but that's not necessarily saying much!.

I'm pretty sure a couple of bands I'm listening to right now and loving will end up falling into the same category - Snowman, Fleet Foxes, Holy ****, Tokyo Police Club, Tilly + the Wall, Be Your Own Pet!. I could be wrong though, we'll see!.

MQ: The Sunset Rubdown - the name is pretty much nonsense, but it sounds like it should be kinda dirty doesn't it!?

Placebo!. I had loved them for many years, they were my favourite band since 1999!. In 2006 I went through a phase of total obsession, I would listen to Placebo non-stop almost without exception!.
At the end of the year I was just so sick of them, then the drummer (my favourite member) left, and I left that it just wasn't MY band anymore!. I still like them, but it's not the same!.

Definately KoRn!. I had their first 5 albums but really lost interest after 3!. Their guitarist left and next thing I know they have a couple albums I didn't even know they did!.
Marilyn Manson is another that I was a big fan of in high school when they put out "Portrait!.!.!." and in college when "Antichrist Superstar" came out and I gave up on them after their 10th guitar replacement and a greatest hits album that was nothing but covers and they didn't even put "Down In The Park" on it and that is still their best cover!. i have alot of favorite bands, but i never loved any of those bands as much as i love panic at the disco! I know every single one of their songs by heart and know almost everything about each member of the band!. I have love them since 2005 and still havent gotten sick of them! Www@Enter-QA@Com

i've got to agree with the radio waves on this one

"Interpol - When Turn On the Bright Lights came out I intensely loved that album, but with each subsequent album they've released its deteriorated"

i still haven't heard all of 'our love to admire' - i turned it off in disgust after four or five tracks!.
