Question: R&P; 'Album bands', 'song bands' !?
Let me explain myself!.
With some of the bands I listen to, I almost always listen to full albums in one sitting!. Such bands include Pink Floyd, Radiohead, etc!.!. I can't not listen to full albums, most of the time!.
With other bands, like Led Zeppelin, I rarely listen to entire albums at once!.!. It's not because they don't have strong albums, I just prefer to listen to songs separately!.
I hope I've been myself clear!.!. What are some bands you consider 'album bands', and others that you consider 'song bands'!.

"song bands" would be nickelback, godsmack, etc

I think it is an up and down swing for me!. I would like to sit down and do albums more often than I do but with work and a 18 month old you don't have much time for a nice album listen!. An entire album listen is more of a special break for me now a days!.

I know where you're comin' from darlin'!. I do the same thing!. Of course I prefer listening to the classics, so my choices are probably older!. I can listen to an entire album of say, "Bad Company", "Bob Seeger", or "Skynyrd" to name a few!. But there are albums where I listen to only a few tunes, like "Aeerosmith", "Foreigner" or "Molly Hatchet"!. I have no new album faves of this year!. Haven't heard any worth buying!.
