Answers:
as a bass player of many yearsk, i can tell you the main reasons i switched to guitar (jk)!. bass players are generally regarded as the quiet one, who's really sensitive but also pretty badass, obvious exceptions being in bands in which everyone is lively, such as kiis and motley crue!. In funk bands, the bass player is contrarily the most lively person, and often have the greatest grasp of music theory!. in metal bands, bass players are supposed to be super crazy, but really stupid!. that's about all that comes to mind!. the biggest stereotype of basses in general is that bass solos are boring (and im not hating, considering i was a funk bass player for several years)Www@Enter-QA@Com

YEAH THE BASS PLAYER IS NORMALLY THE QUIET ONE!. EXCEPT FOR PHILL LYNOT (thin lizzy) HE WAS MAD!. BUT GOOD SANG AS WELL!. JOHN DEACON (queen) SADLY RETIERED NOW BUT VERY GOOD AND QUIET, STING NOT QUIET AND FANTASTIC SONG WRITER LIKE JOHN DEACON!. also PETE ENTWHISTLE (the who) also NOT WITH US ANYMORE WAS VERY PLACID JUST PLAYED THAT'S IT!. WHILE THE OTHERS SMASHED UP THEIR INSTRUMENTS HE DIDN'T!. THE ONE BASS PLAYER WHO YOU COULD DEFIANTLY SAY WAS NOT QUIET IS LEMMY FROM "MOTORHEAD" KNOWN AS THE WILD MAN OF ROCK 'N' ROLL!. BUT USUALLY THEY ARE THE QUIET ONES!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I never really heard of any stereotypes outside of the egos of singers and guitar players!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
