Question: Any harmonica players!?
i've been looking into buying a harmonica to play at my weekly concerts and a coffee shop, are there any brands that are better then others!? i've been looking at a hohner 532/20!. what do the numbers mean!? if it helps, i play alot of blues like clapton, allman brothers, muddy waters etc, a bunch of chicago blues tunes!.

Hamonicas come in a set key!. The multiple songs of each artist may be in different keys!. For example Melissa by the Allman Brothers in in the key of E, Jessica by the Allman brothers is in A!. So no single harmonica will cover every song!. Pick one up in G and play along you will quickly find out which songs are in G ( a lot of them) and you will be able to play along!.
