How long does it take to get fingers to move each independently?!
Question: How long does it take to get fingers to move each independently!?
I practice allot!. Just seems so hard!. I just cant believe so many people can play guitar!.Did they all start so young so that there fingers finally go where they tell them to!. Not just chords I mean scales!.It is such a slow process!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It isn't how long they've played it is how much they've practiced in that time!. I think how long it takes for the fingers to move independently is different for everyone!. I know that for me it was a moderately slow process, you just have to be patient!. Eventually it will get to the point were you almost have to not think about what your playing, you have to be able to just feel it!. When you reach the point were you are utterly frustrated and nothings coming out right then you are thinking too much, and you have to step back for a second and breath!. Probably more than half of the people you see that look like guitar comes easily to them have been in the exact same boat as you right now and have worked their butts off to get where they are right now in playing!. so just be patient and keep on playing, it will get a easier as you move along!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I started a year ago!. i didn't realize when my fingers started to move independently!.I guess it des not happen over night!. Just practice!.!.!.!.you'll get it right in some time!.
Oh, and if you practice scales, start really, really slow and make those fingers move the way you want!. Then you can increase the speed (my guitar teacher taught me that)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

It just takes time, hang in there, when I first took piano it took me a while to be able to move each fingers separately to the right keys!.
Just keep practicing and eventually it will work out!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
