I like to write lyrics but I can't do the note stuff and I'm going to send a demo CD to a record label!.
The main label is called Fort Studios and that's who I'm sending it to!. I hope I get signed by Fueled by Ramen and do a duet with Paramore!.

its easy, just WRITE the lyrics on a word document!. And insert it into an envolope and send it along with some info and a picture of your self :)

No, u dont need any bands or intrument experiance :)

All the best of luck

As I understand it Michael Jackson can't play or read music either!. He's one of the best lyricists of our time!. No comment on his life outside music!.

Sing on your demo!. They will have no problem filling in with music at the studio!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

You need to collaborate with a Music Composer i!.e!. someone like me!. However, I already work with 3 lyricists! Check out YouTube though - there's a lot of talented musicians on there who might like to collaborate with you!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

get a friend to do it for you or just write it as a poem!. that way, you won't need any notes anymore!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Just group up some people!. You could always be an indapendant singer and sign with a band!. Find someone that can write music, and work with them!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

i have the same problem but i just go with the flow but good luck youWww@Enter-QA@Com

Just makes sure your Demo CD has a good front cover on it!.!.!.that does make a difference!. also, include your lyrics sheets, Your demo CD, a short 2 or 3 page Biography about you, a 8" x 11" Black & White photo of you in your Bio Kit as well!. You've got to have all that for your Demo Submission to the Record Label!. Make sure you've got no more than 3 songs on it too!. Don't forget to put your BEST song first on your demo!.

also!.!.remember!. Record Labels get millions of demos and don't have time to sit down & listen to each one by one!. I'm not trying to burst your bubble, but that's it really is the music biz!. I've already mailed out at least 3 to 5 demos to people already!. I just got tired of waiting for their response so I went ahead and posted my MP3 songs on my Myspace site with all my CD CD covers, pix , songs and etc!.

also!.!.!.you can also email various Record Labels too and let them see your Myspace site with your MP3 songs on there!. That saves them time & they can deicde right there if they like you or not!. Just make sure your have already copyrighted your songs to protect your songs!.

www!.copyright!.gov

also!.!.!.check out www!.Tunecore!.com
to sell your songs too if you cant get signed to a Label!. Tunecore sells your songs on itunes, Amazon, Rhapsody and etc for you!. Hope this helps!.!.!.good luckWww@Enter-QA@Com

If you're trying to make music then!.!.!.
1!. You can go to a music store and there is usually a bulletin board or flyers that have a list of people who have the same problem - they are looking for a band with a bass player, singer, guitarist, etc!. etc!.

Anyway, you could ask the staff at the music stores to list your name on that bulletin board!. They'll usually ask for your phone number so people can contact you!. The best music store to go to, in my opinion, is Guitar Center!.

2!. You don't necessarily need a band to make music!. I'm a music producer, however, I work unprofessionally (Which means no profit)!. I work with virtual instruments!. (I'm still amateurish :P) So maybe you could look for a good music producer you could collaberate with!.

I think you'll have a better chance finding band mates though!.!.!.

If you're just making lyrics, I don't think you need a band for that!. You could just send the lyrics directly to the company!. If you're truly passionate about your lyrics, make sure you get it patented so the company you send it to doesn't steal it - which happens on extremely rare occasions, but it's possible!.!.!.

I almost forgot to mention, if they're accepting work, make sure to check their criteria! If your work doesn't meet their needs they'll ignore it!. You could maybe check their website (if they have one) or email them and ask!.

Good luck!
