Question: What are the qualities of a good live band!?
I've often heard people calling this or that band a great live band; the Who, for instance!. But what makes a band good live!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Plays with precision!.
Does not have to make the audience's ears ring!.
Adds a little showmanship to the music!.
Keeps improvisation to a minimum!.
Builds the show from beginning to climactic end!.

Sheer energy!. And you have to play everything right!. If you can't even play your own songs right, who is gonna like you!?
Sing in tune!. Play in tune!. Play drums in time etc that's all important BUT!.
Taking it one step further and playing with brute force and energy!?
That's going to get the whole crowd going!.
And if you sound the same live as you do as in the recordings, that's going to make the crowd get along because they're already familiar to it, right!?
That's why people love to hear Metallica, The Who, Guns N' Roses, AC/DC, Eric Clapton, all live!. Because they're energetic and great!. They almost sound the same live as their recordings!

2!. Spontanoes energy
3!. A band thats NOT drunk or stoned!. That ruins it sometimes
4!. A band that really connects with the crowd
5!. A band that moves around onstage!.!.!.not just standing there in the same spot for 2 hours can be boring!.
6!. When the band doesnt fight each other during the show!.!.!.thats
always a plus!.

definetely have to say!.!.!.if they can keep the energy and enthusiasm of a crowd up and stilll sing in tune!.!.!.!.sometimes bands get so hyped in the crowd and completely forget that we are listening to the through a thousand amps!.!.!.!.they should as good be as their recordings!.!.!.on cds!.!.!.they have been edited and edited some more to make them sound completely different!.!.!.so if they can pull that off!.!.!.then thats wat wud give them a thumbs up from me!.!.!.!.=D

I think when they have good energy and they feed off the crowds reaction!. The best band I seen was Rammstein and I never even liked them I was only doing my friend a favour!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
