Question: Some bass advice, please!?
What are some fun but relativly easy bass songs to play!? I can only play Ready Made and Money!.!. but I wanna learn a couple somewhat recognizeable melodies for now!.
also, should I use a pick or fingerpick!? It sounds cleaner when I fingerpick cause a pick makes a little clicky sound!. =P

I've been playing bass for almost 10 years now and I have always used a pick!. I would have liked to learn with fingers but I just could never do it!. It really depends on what style you play!. Just do whatever is natural!. And as for the songs, I cant remember the first songs I learned to play except one: With or Without You by U2!. It's extremely simple!. You can also just look through any guitar song book and figure out the bass parts from the first note of the chord you'd play on guitar!. That's what I always did!. Now I write all my own songs, so unfortunately I cant give you a list of songs to play except for With or Wtihout You!. Good luck with your playing!
