Do you think Metallica would be a different band today if Cliff would have lived!? If Dave would have remained in the band!? If Jason and Kirk were given more chance to contribute to the albums!?

I think that if Cliff lived it would have made a big difference in the direction of the band!. When he died it seemed that the whole band lost their direction!.
And if Dave hadn't left the band, then we wouldn't have Megadeth :|
If Jason and Kirk contributed more, then I think it would have helped instead of hurt because it would balance the power of the other members of the band!. Didn't happen though!.
Oh, and if Jason hadn't left, we might not have been tortured with 'Rockstar: Supernova!." Ughhhh

after watching Some Kind Of Monster the shred of respect i had for James ,Lars and Mustain left me,, all 3 (mostly James) are lil baby's,,, if Cliff lived i think they never would've listened to Bob Rock when he said "why don't you try singing james!?",, if i was Rob T!. id cash that check and RUN back to Mike Mure,,, Metallica either kills or ruins great bass players !.!.!. run Rob,,,RUUUUUUUUUUUN!!!!! listen to Flotsem&Jetsems bass lines then the stuff Jason did with Metallica,,, Newsted was a top notch shredder and was forced just to be lars's back upWww@Enter-QA@Com

dave had to go his own way or he and lars would be missing something to hate!.
kirk doesnt want it i dont think!. and jason always struck me as having the attention span of a fish!.
i do not like mercyful fate and dont listen to them!.
