Question: How do you start a band with a heavy metal guitarist and a funky jazz guitarist!?
my friend and i want to start a band!.we have a drummer but no vocals!.none of us can sing and we have two guitarists who play almost opposite styles of music, heavy metal and jazz!. the drummer doesnt like either style!. what the heck do we do and how do we form a band with this!. any good band names!?!?!?!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Think about successful bands like Red Hot Chilli Peppers!. They came together with a fusion of different styles!. Its not something new, to be combining different styles of music, but if done right it can be legendary!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
You just gotta find what suits you there have been plenty of bands that mixed style together!. A metal guitarist with a jazz guitarist you could get a sound like rage against the machines or white zombie it depends what direction the band go's!. Get together and start playing the others will start playing that eventual will sound right if there good musicians, For a good band name i would go with Alien masterpiece!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

look at 311, pnut is funky as hell( though hes bass)!. and their lead isnt metal but he rocks!. try jazz during the bridge and have the metal break in at the chorusWww@Enter-QA@Com
