How to play with a violin bow?!
Question: How to play with a violin bow!?
I just got my first violin and I have been trying to figure out the bow!. I know how to hold it but when Im using it, how do you play a note!? Like you have your fingers on different strings and how do you get bow to play the whole note instead of one string!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

okay, to hold it, you put your thumb on the silver part underneath where the hair starts and your fingers on the grip on top, slightly spread out!. then put it on the place in between the neck and the bridge and move it along the string!. put your fingers in different spots along the neck to make different notes, obviously the higher up you go the higher the notes will be!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
What do you mean by, "the whole note"!? I hope you're not attempting to play chords when you've just started violin!. If you've just obtained your first violin, your first objective should be proper playing technique, sans the bow!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
