Question: PLEASE help me!!!!!!!!!?
when i sing, it used to be all through the nose, but now that i started taking voice lessons (ive only taken 2 so far) and i have been breathing from the diaphragm my voice has been louder and deeper!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.but all the songs that i used to sing (like missing you by first lady!.!.!.!.i used to sound exactly like her) my voice now overpowers her and is way deeper now!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!. and i also started singing love story by taylor swift but my voice is still kinda deep for that too but i can pull it off!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.and also!.!.!.!.!.since ive been breathing from the diaphragm my voice sounds (in the words of my brother) " naisily with country slurring" and i wanted to know how i can quit doing that and also i wanted to know some songs (sung by girls) that are abit deeper (but not like avril lavigne!.!.!.!.!.!.!.i for sure cant pull that off :p) cos im supposed to email my voice teacher (whom has never heard me sing!.!.!.!.!.due to my cold) some songs that i sing!.!.!.!.!.!.!.and i already have:

Anyone that sings from their diaphragm is doing it correctly!. You can't get the proper support you need to sing anything if you sing through your nose!. It might sound weird to you at first, but if you learn to sing the proper way, then you will have a versed way to sing!. You will be able to sing quietly and loudly with support when you need to!. By just singing through your nose it will sound mousy!. Believe me, use your diaphragm!. I have been taking singing lessons for 12 years!. Don't worry about sounding too deep or low!. Have you heard miley Cyrus's range!? She is a TRUE alto!. Sing one of her songs!.!.!.I've got my sight set on you!.!.!.or something like that!. She uses her diaphram!. I promise!.
