Too many artists are called talented and tehy really suck!. That's in any music genre!. Talent flew out the window somewhere along the line and it tells young people that they have to "look good" to succeed!. True country talent lies in the faithful hands of Faith HIll, Trisha Yearwood, Terri Clark, JoDee Messina, Dixie Chicks, Jamie O'Neal, Leanne Womack, Sarah Evans*, Shania, Alanah Miles, Cyndi Thompson, Jessica Andrews, Rebecca Lynn Howard, etc!. (Females) They have that true country tone without all that glam and glitz that they're starting to throw into country now!. Country singers are not supposed to get all hot and heavy over all that Hollywood-wannabe bologna!. It used to be the wholesome music of this country and it's also being corrupted!. if you look back, the artists that paved the way fifty years ago HAD to sing, there were not many instruments to alter or accent a persons voice!. there was really only radio, and if you couldn't sing, you didn't make it!. now, i think some can sing, but alot is based on entertainment value (eg: looks, dance talent etc!.!.) so i personally think looks nowadays go hand in hand with actual ability to sing, because the media pushes to make money, and unfortunately, looks sell!. its really sad i think!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I think Taylor Swift has amazing talents!. She's gorgeous, yet she can sing amazingly and play guitar extremely good and she can plays drums a little!. i think that's amazing!. (Hence my screen name)

I believe country singers have always been sexy!. Maybe not in mainstream music but they have always had beauty!. I love taylor swift but for her upbeat songs!. But my sister only likes her for her looks!. Jessica Simpson isn't country i don't know who shes trying to fool but shes pop and never will be country!.
