U2 is better compared to another low 2nd-high 3rd teir band, they really dont belong in a conversation with the beatles!. they had some good moments!. i never found anything they did to be particularly interesting musically, but some of the songs are pretty good for what they are!. meanwhile, from the point the beatles stopped touring on they were one of the greatest album producing units that popular music has ever seen!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
The Beatles because well aside from having two brilliant song writers Lennon and McCartney!. They have written some of the most beautiful touching music I have ever heard!. Their voices beautiful and unique as they were!. Their music defined a generation they started the movement for peace and cared about others!. They are simply brilliant and epic in every sense of the word!.

I would go with the Beatles because of their innovations and styling (in perspective of their time)
U2 is probably a better music overall, but the only song that stands out from them to me is the main hit from Josua Tree!. (can't find what I am looking for!.!.!.)

For me this is easy!. Beatles anyday!. I like U2 but they just aren't the legends that the Beatles were!. Regardless of the fact that the Beatles were milked to the greatest extent possible they still were absolutely amazing musicians!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
