SO many people I know downloads music off the Internet knowing what it does to the music industry!. WHY DO PEOPLE THINK IT IS ALRIGHT TO STEAL FROM THESE SINGERS!? I went in to a music store back home hoping to maybe run into some old friends and it was like a ghost town in there!.!.!. If nobody buys music anymore!.!.!.!.!. how are these singers making money!?

I honestly don't know!.
The quality is inferior and it doesn't count as part of a record collection,
file sharing is also illegal!.
As for those saying 'they make enough money' so does Bill Gates,do they think they should be able to steal his software!.
So do Honda,should it be okay to flog a car!.
Film Stars etc,etc!.
Perhaps some have folk have parents who are making a very good living owning a shop,would it be okay for people to come in and flog some goods!?
Not all artists are making fortunes!.

People do it because they like free things, and everybody else does it!. They think it's alright to steal because they think that plenty of people buy the album, so losing 99 cents per song won't hurt the artist!. They're wrong, obviously, but plenty of people still buy music!. I (almost) never download music (illegally!.) Artists still make money off of iTunes and other stores, so not all downloading is bad!.
And to the person who said "artists make most of their money touring:" that's not true!. Everybody except major stars make significant money touring, and plenty of artists actually lose money!. They do it to promote their music, especially a new album!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Plus most of the people who download music are teenagers, and im sure if you asked them they would say they didnt care!.!.

It doesn't effect the groups or singers as much as you think!. They are mostly payed by record companies the only people it's hurting is managers of stores (OK that's not the best thing in the world) and record company CEOs!. the best way to support bands is probably to by merchandise!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
hi i don't think its alright to download free you can pay a small amount monthly and download legally i know some people have been caught and very heavily find service providers now have the right to stop you if your caught i think its better to have the cd anyway!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
Go see them live if it matters so much to you!! If you want to support an artist rock up and rock out, buy a tour t-shirt whatever!. They make more money on this that buying a lousy cd!.!.!.!. ahem!!.!. so last decade!.!.!.!.

i think downloading is alright, but not too much downloading, i usually go buy the cds, but if its just a song or 2, i just downloaded instead of buying a cd for just two songs!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

not all downloading is free and you have to worry about getting caught!! and yes i would rather download !.!.!.!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
