Question: Should I let this guy in my band!?
I need a guitarist for a band, but I play drums and don't know much about guitarists!. He says he has been playing for a couple of years!. He sent me an audio clip of his playing!. Does anyone know if this guy is any good or not!?

But aside from that, If Your gut reaction says to turn Him down, do so!. Chicks dig rock/pop guitarists, therefore, there will always be plenty of (male) rock/pop guitarists to go around!. Basically, there's lots of fish in the sea unless You live in a village!.
EDIT: Based on the fact that He's playing a tune like "One," I'd say no!. Ask Him to just do a solo for You, and hear if You like it or not!. It's all too easy to practice a certain song over and over until He gets it perfect, especially a simplistic song like "One!."Www@Enter-QA@Com
