Answers:
i definately use mitchell lurie!. 3 1/2!.
but thats only because i've had so many directors tell me that rico is harder to play in tune!. plus, like you said, mitchell lurie is easier to play on!.

depending on how often you play, it should only take you a couple hours to break it in!. so if you play for an hour everyday, it should be broken in!.!.!.within!.!.!.3 days maybe!? so, the fact that its hard to play on could just be because your just started using it and its different!.

a trick that a director showed me was to place the top of the reed on!.!.!.the stand or even just your leg!. and flick the bottom of it!. it helps break in the reed!. just a little somethin that might help you out!.

well, i hope i helped out in some way shape or form!. :]]Www@Enter-QA@Com
