with that amp you need to peg the gain (turn it all the way up) and kill the mids (turn it almost all the way down) adjust the highs and lows to suit your taste and master volume down (unless you are jamming with a band)
most metal uses a little bit of delay on the guitar to give it some depth!. you can use reverb but dont overdo it!.
the bandit is a decent amp but you will eventually want to get a pedal to give you some cool sounds and variety of distortion, try the new zoom pedal it only costs about $90!.00 and has a bunch of cool effects and even some onboard drum beats that are not too cheesy!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
