New to Bass and Guitar.?!
Question: New to Bass and Guitar!.!?
Im wondering where a good starter point is to play these!. I have played around on them for years, but never got serious into them!. I know a few songs, mainly short nursery rhymes and easy quick songs like that!. I was wondering though how I could teach myself to do metal type songs!. Im not fast with the pick, and thats what I use to play both the guitar and bass, Im not comfortable with finger picking!.
My favorite bands for both bass and guitar are Lamb of God, As I Lay Dying and mainly Tool and A Perfect Circle!. I know how to read tabs, I just have a hard time keeping up with the flow of the music Im trying to play!. I can even find my way across the neck without looking, Im just bad with speed and flow!.
