I have heard people say that he's too effeminate for their taste!. It's usually stated in more ignorant and childish terms, but that's the gist!.
I like his voice!. He's a trained vocalist with sound mechanics!. His voice fits the music, too!. Every classically-trained singer I know who has heard him likes him, but those who know little to nothing about actual singing typically don't!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I wasn;t aware that people hated his vocals!. One think that I can comment tho is that in my personal opinion the music (guitar, drums, bass) are just unbelievable and his voice!.!.!.well!.!.!. it's just O!.K!. so maybe that's why some people may not find it so great!. But personally I think Dream Theater is just one of the best bands around but only the people who are really into rock music love them (like me)!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I happen to enjoy his vocals!.!.!.!.His style of singing requires a greater deal of talent than most death metal 'cookie monster' rubbish!. If you can't see that, then you and I don't share the same insight on what actual talent is!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
His vocal style might just not appeal to them!. I personally love him!. He's a great vocalist and fits the band perfectly in my opinion!. He definitely did change how they sound like from how they used to be with Charlie Dominici!. Www@Enter-QA@Com
