and Metallica came out with "Kill em all" in 1983, Slayer came out with "Show no mercy" in 1983 and Anthrax came out with "Fistful of metal" in 1984 or 1985

Slayer!. And they're certainly the best of the "Big Four" of thrash!. But I suppose that Anthrax, Megadeth and (though it pains me to admit it) Metallica also did!. And then there's bands like Kreator and Sodom who also were very good and very early!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

Venom is credited in many circles as the originators of what became thrash metal!. Bands like Met, Slayer, Anthrax, TestAmenT took it to the next level!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
I don't think Exciter really started it, but they came out with their first album a few months before Metallica did!. Either them, or:
