Who was Mozart's rival?!

Question: Who was Mozart's rival!?
Answers:
Antonio SalieriWww@Enter-QA@Com

Well, if Mozart did have a rival, I don't think it was Salieri - I think that friction-fueled relationship was just a bit of artistic license taken by Peter Shaffer, who wrote the play that "Amadeus" was later based on!.

But if Mozart DID have a rival, I wouldn't have been at all surprised if it had been his own sister Nannerl, who was also very gifted musically!. She may not have expressed her frustrations outwardly, but I tell you what, if I'd been Nannerl, I would've been extremely annoyed with my precocious little bro for getting all the kudos!

Salieri!?

!.!.!.Or, rather, that was just from the movie!. I read that they thought very highly of each other at the time!. That movie was just VERY GOOD fiction involving historical figures!.

I'm honestly not too sure Mozart had a rival!. Mozart was too much of a genius for a rival!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

In term of then popularity!?!.!.!. Salieri, Martin y Soler, Paisiello, Cimarosa, Eybler!.!.!.

And, as others have mentioned!.!.!. The film (and the play) Amadeus shouldn't be taken seriously in terms of historical accuracy!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

There's no proof that Salieri was a rival of Mozart, that's just spread by Amadeus!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

I think Antonio Salieri ,but I think Mozart was genius by himself!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
