Q1: I don't know how Simon and his cohorts would react to Thom Yorke!. If he went in there and belted out "No Surprises" or "Street Spirit (Fade Out)," he would so be put through to the next round!. If he went with "A Wolf at the Door" or "Idioteque"!.!.!. they would say, "Oh, you have talent, but you just aren't right for this contest!." And they would be right!. Thom Yorke is to "American Idol" what a five-year-old is to George W!. Bush -- way smarter, way cooler!.
Q2: Jonny Greenwood (guitarist/mult-instrumentalist) has the most raw musical talent in Radiohead!. He's composed film scores (including one for last year's There Will Be Blood) and plays!.!.!.

Q1 - definatley not!. all the winners of american idol have the same voice, and it's all very mainstream!. all of my favorite singers have a unique voice, and that's what i love about them :)
Q2 - no, not really!. i wouldnt really like a band if only one member is good, because that means only one instrument would be good, and the rest of it would suck :P
