1!.Blue Oyster Cult is probably the most underrated band of all times!.
2!.The Pretenders are far better than Blondie, but ppl just don't seem to realize it
3!.Racer X is very underrated in the Heavy Metal world!. Personally, i think they're far more versatile than, 4 example, Iron Maiden, and they deserve a lot more popularity and credit!. Paul Gilbert,originally a member of Racer X, was only popular while playing with Mr!. Big
4!. Metallica is overrated!. in the 80s they barely knew how to play!. I personally like their Black Album best, although it's pronounced to be their commercial sellout, but on that album they simply play the best, and all of the songs are great!. Master Of Puppets, which is is praised, is just a bunch of too long songs with no direction at all!. St!. Anger sounds like a demo tape of some metal wannabes
5!. The Beatles are probably the most misunderstood band of all times!. A lot of ppl hear Love me do or Yellow Submarine, and think that's what The Beatles are all about, and that they're 'soft and easy listening'!. They're always compared to the Stones-but have in mind that The Stones still exist, while The Beatles split in 1970!. also do not forget that The Beatles brought break beat into rock music(listen to the song Tomorrow Never Knows-album Revoler in 1966), sitar, a lot of distortion(listen to the song'it's all too much')etc!. >Fortunatelly , some contemporary accomplished musicians mention Beatles to be one of their main influences, even heavy metal musicians(eg!. Paul Gilbert, Coroner, )
