Hmmm!.!.!.!.!.don't quite remember it; I wasn't a Pink Floyd fan at the time!. (Do not worry, I am now!.)
Just a story that happened to me today that I need to vent about:
I saw a kid wearing a Pink Floyd t-shirt, and, thinking that he was wearing it in tribute, I said "Oh, I guess you heard Rick Wright died yesterday!." Met with a total blank look!. Thinking that maybe since it was early in the morning and since this kid was maybe not used to being confronted by total strangers about dead musicians, I prompted further!. "the keyboardist!? Pink Floyd!?!?!? (pointing at shirt in desperation) He died yesterday!? You heard about this!? You are a Pink Floyd fan!?" Still nothing, except that he walked very quickly away from me!.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think that if you are a big enough fan of a band to own a t-shirt (and a hat, which I saw him wearing later and was very jealous of), you should at least know the major members by name, and be aware of it when they die!. Or at least act shocked or something when you do find out!. I'm not even a HUGE Pink Floyd fan and I knew about this!. Poser!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Well, I think everyone knew Syd's death was coming!. We all knew he was sick and it was only a matter of time before it happened!.

Richard Wrights' death was a total surprise!. I had no idea he had cancer!. With Syd, I think pretty much any Floyd fan knew he was sick!.Www@Enter-QA@Com
