Question: Name any 60's R&P hit song by an artist/band that are NOT from the US or UK!?
Please name the hit song and artist!

Yahoo wanted to put this in Hockey!?Www@Enter-QA@Com

Answers:
Are you referring to songs that were hits here in North America only!?
Because I could list off dozens of songs/bands that were hits in Mexico, Norway, Holland, Germany, Argentina, Yugoslavia, Italy, or the Philippines!.
Any Heintje fans in the house!? He was huge in Holland! Lol!.

I'll take a wild guess and presume you meant songs that were hits in the US or the UK, but recorded/performed by artists outside of those regions!.!.!.here's a few:

Paul Anka - Puppy Love (Canada) 1960
Chad Allen & the Expressions - Shakin All Over (Canada) 1965
The Irish Rovers - The Unicorn (Canada) 1967
Shocking Blue - Venus (The Netherlands) 1969
The Easybeats - Friday on my Mind (Australia) 1966
The Bee Gees - Spicks and Specks (Australia) 1966
The Diamonds - One Summer Night (Canada) 1961
Bobby Curtola - Fortune Teller (Canada) 1962
Ian and Sylvia Tyson - Four Strong Winds (Canada) 1964

I was going to add 'The Band' as well, since of it's 5 members, 4 were Canadian!. Same holds true with Steppenwolf too!. Lol
If this question had included bands/artists of the 70's also, then you'd have a much bigger list!.

Good question!

*Edit - Nathanial!.!.!.The Bee Gees were from the UK, then moved to Australia in 1958!. Then they moved back to the UK in 1966, several months prior to 'To Love Somebody'!. They really didn't have any well known songs outside of Australia while they lived there other than perhaps 'Spicks and Specks'!.

*Edit - beatlesfan_232!.!.!.Van Morrison and his 60's band 'Them' were from Belfast, Northern Ireland!.!.!.which is part of the UK :)Www@Enter-QA@Com

The Seekers - I'll Never Find Another You!.
The Seekers are from Australia and this song was a #1 hit in the UK and it was from 1964

Englebert Humperdinck - Am I that Easy to Forget!.
He is from India and the song reached #18 on the US Chart in early 1968!. However, it went #1 on AC!.

I give up Rauol wins!. Dammit!. *Insert Rage here*
Wait!.!.!.I've never heard of those bands!? He's a Fraud!Www@Enter-QA@Com
