Together!.!.!.Paul definitely needed John's edge, and John needed Paul's softer style!.!.!.and they both needed George and Ringo to give them both some balance!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

I loved John's solo music as much as the Beatles together!. The music styles & tastes had changed a lot by then & their individual styles were much more apparent separately!. George & Ringo had a few hits I really loved but not to the degree of John!. I am not saying Paul is not a great talent & songwriter, I just personally was never able to connect with his music style when he went solo!. In the end, they are all music icons!

Yes!. While the quality of their work together was absolute top quality, their individual work, from Lennon's Imagine to Harrison's Wilbury's, Mcartney's Wings and even a few Ringo tunes, adds up to a pretty hefty resume that stands up well to their work together, with a few pieces (Imagine that) as good as anything they ever did together!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No, but Paul came the closest (Ram, Band on the Run)!. John was always interesting, but his solo output could feel distracted and/or scattershot!. George was very earnest, tried hard, and hit a couple of homers!.!.!. but could also end up falling flat and seeming self-important or preachy!. Ringo!.!.!. couple of good songs, but Ringo's more "fun" than great as a solo artist!.

Paul isn't immune to solo failure, but come on!.!.!. "Maybe I'm Amazed"!? "Jet"!? "Band on the Run"!? "Uncle Albert/Admiral Halsey"!? "Jenny Wren"!? Those are masterworks!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Together, always!. They were allstars in their time!. Nothing or no one could reign over them, not even Elvis!. But Elvis was in another class altogether!. They were the first rock band to make the scene across the world! They took the world by storm! There has been nothing like them before or since! :DWww@Enter-QA@Com

Absolutely no question they made their best music as part of The Beatles! However talented they were as individuals, I believe they were so much more inspired, and greatly inspired each other, when they made music together!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

Nope!.

But I think if post-Beatles Harrison, Lennon, Ringo and McCartney joined together!.!.!. The music would be just as good!.

In my book, it goes-

John
George
Ringo
PaulWww@Enter-QA@Com

My opinion is they were the best together!. But they were all creative people and sometimes it is hard for four creative people to tolerate each other for long periods of time!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

No, but for me John Lennon comes the closest, I would say I like John's solo work just as much or maybe even a little more than when he was with The Beatles!.Www@Enter-QA@Com

NNNNNNOOOOOO!!!!!
these 4 men were good musicians apart but they were amazing
together!.
