What is your opinion on remixed songs?!
Question: What is your opinion on remixed songs!?
To clarify, a remix is not where the songmaker uses someone's elses song as a beat for their own!. That is called "sampling"!.!.
Example: Puff Daddy & the Family - Victory
also, it is not where someone covers someone elses song:
Example: Orgy - Blue Monday
A remix is where a DJ/producer/artist/group merely provides an alternate background sound to the artist's original work!.
Example: Beastie Boys - Body Movin' (Fatboy Slim Remix)

look!.!.to be honest i don't mind remix songs as long as people don't go over board with them and then remix the remixes!.!.that gets annoying!.
i also hate it when people remix a song that's perfectly fine the way it is it an attempt to try and make it popular again or to think they are making it a better song!.
but some remixes are awesome, for example Touch My Body (Seamus Haji & Paul Emanuel Radio Edit)!. The original song by Mariah Carey is horrible, it sounds so flat and plain, no back beat at all!. But thats just my opinion!. Www@Enter-QA@Com

Pretty much I look at it like a cover that has a slight advantage in the artists favor since they have access to the studio tracks, I guess with that in mind though I will give a little less latitude to the remix!. It has to be a little better than a good cover would have to be!.
None of that really means anything though!. It's all just silly "respect qualifiers"!. Like anything else, if it sounds good I like it!.

I remix songs in our studio all the time!. I love it because it adds flavor to a song that needs that something extra!. Yes, by the time I'm done remixing you will like the song much better sometimes I'll add something more in the bass line to give it more funk!. What do you know about remixing!?Www@Enter-QA@Com
Some remixes are an improvement while others added nothing interesting!. So, I would outlaw them for the few that are something special!.
On a side note, I was thinking of an idea to release a lo-fi version of a song calling it the un-mix or pre-mix, whichever term applies!. :-)Www@Enter-QA@Com

honestly, i don't like remixed songs because they take the originality out of the original song!. the only remixed songs i like are the songs that Jay-Z did with Linkin Park for encoreWww@Enter-QA@Com

Remixes are great!. If you like the song you will most likely listen to it multiple times!. Eventually it could become boring!.!.!.then BAM!!!! the remix comes out and you get a fresh dose of the song all over again!Www@Enter-QA@Com
